About the role

Join Active Care in the Home, and become part of a rewarding new care team supporting our new young client in Llanrug. Active Care in the Home are expanding our client base. We’re looking to recruit a brand‑new team of Support Workers to care for our brand‑new young client in Llanrug. Our client is a 17 year old teenage girl who lives at home with her family. She has complex health needs including wheelchair user, non‑verbal, PEG fed and epilepsy. You will be supporting her on a 1:1 basis. We will provide full specialist training. Due to the rural location of the client's home, you will need to be a driver with a car.

Shifts available:

  • Day shifts (Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays 8am-6pm)
  • Saturdays 8am-4pm

Two support workers, 2 shifts per week each, plus cover for other shifts when the other support worker is off.

In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team. While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero‑hours contract as care packages can change.
