We'd like you to join us as a Support Worker at our Nottingham Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in Nottingham.
At Nottingham Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre , we offer rehabilitation, care and support to people with a brain injury or other neurological condition. We're committed to helping every person we support feel safe, happy, empowered enabling them to live the best life possible.
We provide a psychology led multi-disciplinary treatment model to deliver a high quality, specialist service for people who have a neuro disability or acquired brain injury.
What you'll be working:
- Full time
- Minimum 22 Hours – 37.625hrs per week
- Days and nights flexible
- Weekend working on a rota
- You would be supporting across Nottingham units on a rota basis
What you'll be doing:
- A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible for our young peopleBuild relationships with patients, which are open and two waySupport patients to undertake their rehabilitation programmeEstablish methods of communication with patients, reducing barriers when necessaryAssist patients with mealtimes where necessarySupport with activities of daily living and personal care when neededCommunicate any issues to the clinical teamAccurately report and/or record work activities
What you'll have:
- A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible for our residentsThe ability to communicate effectively at all levelsExperience working within the care sector / mental health would be an advantage but not essentialSuccessful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
