Come and join one of the UK's largest providers of complex care. Within the Care in the Home division, we support clients with spinal cord injury to live independently in their own homes.We'd like you to join us as a Live In Support Worker in the Newcastle upon Tyne area.Meet the client:I enjoy gardening, especially growing vegetables, house plants and bonsai trees. I like watching sports and films and going out for meals. I like to go target shooting with an air rifle, I also like fishing. It would be great if you could drive so we can go out and do these things together. My goal is to go on holiday again, I have been to some great destinations, including America and Japan. I would like someone to take the time getting to know me and having conversation. I have a really dry sense of humour and enjoy a laugh. I would prefer a candidate to have some experience working with spinal injury, someone who is willing to learn and take the time to support me with my clinical needs.What you'll be doing:
- This role is to support our male client with a spinal cord injury within his own home
- You will move into the client's home and support him with personal care (including washing, dressing and toileting), moving and handling, domestic tasks and social activities
When you'll be working:
- Regular assignments with this client
- Assignment length 2 weeks at a time
