Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follow the venue's opening and closing operational directives along with all other operational daily, weekly & monthly objectives as per the operational platform.
  • Deliver accurate cash management summaries on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensure that the Health, Safety & Wellbeing of our guests & team members is always your highest priority.
  • Manage the on-shift presentational standard of the venue, acting on any issues and reporting any recurrences to the Assistant General Manager and/or General Manager.
  • Support the AGM & GM, when required, in all HR related matters ensuring the company's HR policies and procedures are followed precisely.
  • Promptly manage any maintenance issues and report via the correct operational systems.
  • Manage the operational deployment of the team on each shift, including the scheduling of break times and the rotation of allocated duties.
  • Actively manage, as required and ‘in-the-moment’, any on-shift accident, incident, or other untoward occurrence, in compliance with the venue’s operating procedures.
  • Judge and assess whether any escalation is required in the management of any incidents, including any requirement to immediately notify the AGM/GM.
  • Accurately record any incidents, including a clear date and timeline, a description of actions taken, and the collection of any records (including photographic) or witness statements etc.
  • Create a fun, energetic and exciting venue.
  • Fulfil the role of Company Ambassador, both as a stakeholder in the Activate UK Group Store network, and also in leading & developing the venue’s local community engagement programme.
Qualifications / Skills
  • Someone who leads from the front and will be a role model to our team members.
  • Someone who loves to train and coach their teams to success!
  • Great communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Great Health & Safety knowledge.
  • Good HR Knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Previous Leisure Industry experience is a huge plus!
  • Must have prior experience supervising/managing teams.

Working Conditions

Our supervisors work various hours each week (a minimum of three shifts weekly) on a flexible contract. Flexibility is essential; our supervisors will work a mixture of daytime/evenings and weekends - weekends being essential. Our opening hours will be 10am-10pm 7 days a week.
