About the role:

As a Job Coach, you will be supporting and developing our students of all abilities to gain essential employability skills within our Learning Companies. You will be expected to work closely with the Course Leader to ensure the smooth day to day running of the companies, working across all learning companies as and when required.

You will also be assessing and monitoring students’ progress and supporting students to plan and achieve their learning outcomes and targets.

This is a permanent, full-time, term time only position, working 35 hours per week (0.8 FTE) at our Reading College campus.

What do you need to be a successful job coach at Activate Learning?

You will have significant experience of working with young people with SEND in a teaching or training environment and be able to break down and simplify job roles and to give clear and explicit instructions. With excellent communications skills, you will also be able to build positive networks and relationships with others. Experience of working in an FE environment is desirable.
