About the role: Activate Learning is seeking a dedicated Health and Social Care Teacher eager to share their expertise and contribute to the education of others, teaching on our level 3 Health and Social Care courses. If you possess experience in health and social care, this opportunity could mark the beginning of a fulfilling teaching career.
As a Health and Social Care Teacher, you will collaborate with our teaching team to deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons to a diverse student body. Our modern Care Skills Training Centres at each campus offer students a unique platform to refine their skills for clinical industry placements and future employment opportunities. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our City of Oxford campus.
What do you need to be successful as a Health and Social Care Teacher at Activate Learning?
- We are seeking individuals who can serve as exemplary role models for our students, ensuring they depart not only with professional Health and Social Care qualifications but also with the essential attributes for success in the professional world.
- An authentic dedication to guiding and nurturing young individuals is a fundamental requirement.
- To teach this subject, you should have relevant experience and knowledge in adult nursing. This could include being a registered nurse, working in a nursing home, or holding other relevant healthcare roles that involve adult care.
- While prior teaching experience or qualifications are advantageous, they are not mandatory.
- If you possess the requisite qualifications to teach in our Health and Social Care courses and exhibit the qualities of an inspiring educator, we are committed to providing the necessary training, development, and support to prepare you for teaching in the FE sector.
- Level 3 or above qualification and experience in the Health and Social Care sector is essential.
- Extensive experience specifically within adult nursing is highly desirable.
