About the role: Schools Partnership Assistant Activate Learning marketing team have an opportunity for a Schools Partnership Assistant to join our team, working across our colleges in Surrey. In this role, you will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local schools and key stakeholders in the education sector, ensuring that potential students are well-informed about our diverse course offerings.

Your responsibilities will include attending school assemblies, workshops, and career events to deliver dynamic presentations that expand access to guidance and support for students as they plan their next steps. Collaborating with the Marketing and Faculty teams, you will also help develop and promote school liaison activities, strengthening partnerships and driving applications from these institutions. There will be occasional early starts and late finishes, so you will need to have a flexible approach.

This is a permanent, full time position working 37 hours per week across Surrey, with Guildford College as your primary base. We also welcome applications from candidates seeking a term time working pattern.

What do you need to be successful as a Schools Partnership Assistant:

  • You will need experience in an educational environment or working with young people.
  • You will have strong IT, communication and interpersonal skills and good knowledge of the 14+ education landscape and the barriers young people may face.
  • You will also be confident delivering engaging presentations and hold a full, clean driving licence with access to a car.
