Activate Learning are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Maths teacher to work at Guildford College, helping our students to achieve success in GCSE maths and Statistics qualifications.
This post provides an excellent opportunity for a teacher with passion and drive, who is committed to enabling our students to unlock their potential and switch on to the power of learning.
Additionally, you will contribute to the development of the curriculum and resources for GCSE Maths and statistics, participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and school events, and support extracurricular activities or clubs related to the subject area.
This is a permanent, full-time position based at Guildford College.
What do you need to be successful as a Maths Teacher at Activate Learning?
We are looking for people who can act as role models for our students and ensure that they leave us with not just their professional qualifications, but the attributes required to progress in the world of work. A genuine interest in working with and developing young people is a requirement.
Previous teaching experience is a requirement. As long as you have the qualifications or experience to teach on our courses and demonstrate the attributes to be an inspirational teacher, we can provide you with the necessary training, development and support to equip you to teach in the FE sector.
For this role you will need the following:
- A level 3 qualification in maths or a related subject
- A teaching qualification
- Teaching experience required
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
