Activate Learning are recruiting a Design and Planning professional to join our Engineering and Construction team based at Guildford college. This role is full time (37 hours per week) permanent contract. This role is ideal for professionals eager to inspire the next generation of construction experts by delivering the innovative T Level qualification in Design, Surveying, and Planning for Construction.
About the role:
As a Design and Planning Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and assessing students to ensure a high-quality, engaging learning experience. You will act as a course tutor, managing student attendance and providing academic support to promote successful progression. A key part of the role involves contributing to the development and continuous improvement of curriculum content that reflects current industry needs. You will also support student recruitment and represent the institution at promotional events. Ensuring compliance with administrative processes and quality assurance standards is essential, as is maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment in line with Health and Safety legislation.
This is a full time, permanent position based at Guildford college. Salary Up to Β£43,869 per annum with a potential hard-to-fill supplement (dependent on qualifications and experience).
