Overview
Beauty Teacher role at Activate Learning for Guildford College. Our Beauty Therapy courses cover manicures, pedicures, nail art, themed face painting, skincare, waxing, and massage. You will primarily teach and assess students across Levels 1, 2, and 3. We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic individual with a passion for delivering engaging, practical lessons while nurturing the unique talents of each student. This is a full-time position on a fixed-term contract until July 2026 at Guildford College campus.

- Deliver engaging, practical lessons and nurture student talents to help them develop professional skills and qualifications.
What you need to be successful
We are looking for individuals who can act as role models for our students, helping them gain not only professional qualifications but also the skills and attributes needed to thrive in their careers. To be successful in this role, you should hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy and have relevant, up-to-date industry experience to help students develop practical skills and knowledge required for the beauty therapy profession. While previous teaching experience and qualifications are beneficial, they are not essential; if you have the expertise and passion to teach beauty therapy, we will provide the necessary training and support to help you succeed in the further education (FE) sector.
About you:
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy and experience working as a beauty therapist are essential.
- You must either have an Assessor\’s Award or be willing to work towards one within the first three months.
- While a teaching qualification and experience in education are desirable, they are not required.
- An IQA qualification would be highly desirable, but is not essential.
Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage your workload effectively are essential. You’ll benefit from being part of a supportive team in a dynamic role that offers diverse opportunities for professional growth.
