About the role: Activate Learning is seeking an enthusiastic and motivational Logistics Teacher to join our team at Banbury and Bicester College. In this role, you will deliver the Gateway Level 1 Skills for Logistics programme to learners aged 16-18, with the programme beginning in September 2026. As our Logistics provision expands over the next five years, this role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth. You will play a key part in shaping and developing our evolving curriculum, which will include the introduction of Level 2 and Level 3 programmes, as well as apprenticeship pathways. This position provides an exciting opportunity for someone with practical experience in the logistics industry who is passionate about sharing their expertise, inspiring the next generation, and supporting students to achieve and progress. This is a permanent, part-time role working 16 hours per week (0.43 FTE) based at our Banbury and Bicester college.

What do you need to be successful as a Logistics Teacher at Activate Learning? We are looking for people who can act as role models for our students and ensure that they leave us with not just their professional qualifications, but the attributes required to progress in the world of work. A genuine interest in working with and developing young people is a requirement. No specific qualifications are required but industry experience in the Logistics sector is essential. Experience within Teaching or Training is desirable. If you have the qualifications or experience to teach on our courses and demonstrate the attributes to be an inspirational teacher, we can provide you with the necessary training, development and support to equip you to teach in the FE sector.
