We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Learning Support Coordinator to join the Group Learning Support team based at our Banbury and Bicester College.
About the role as a GLS Coordinator: We are seeking a detail-oriented GLS Coordinator with strong Excel skills to join our Group Learning Support team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accurate creation, maintenance, and compliance of key funding and administrative processes that support the team's operations. This is a permanent, part-time role working 22.5 hours per week, (FTE 0.61) based at our Banbury and Bicester College.
What do you need to be successful as a GLS Coordinator at Activate Learning? We need an excellent administrator who is well organised and adept at using college systems. The responsibilities include:
- Inputting and tracking of funding data through eSpirALS, ensuring information is accurate and recorded in a timely manner. This includes timetables, FE and HE support, Exam Support and assessment costs.
- Completing administrative tasks associated with the processing of examination access arrangements.
- Working with Study Mentors and assessors, ensuring learners who require an examination access arrangement receive an assessment.
- Completing administrative tasks, such as triaging applications, associated with the planning and booking of support interviews, including working with study mentors and delivery managers, ensuring learners who require a support interview receive one.
- Working closely with Team leaders and Study Mentors, to ensure EHCP and HN students are supported.
- Completing the ordering of resources and materials needed by the service. This includes stationary for the team and EAA material/resources for the EAA team.
- Processing purchase orders and invoices.
- Supporting with exam access arrangement process.
