Activate Learning is hiring an enthusiastic and inspiring GCSE English Teacher to join our team at Banbury College. The role is permanent, full-time, based at Banbury College.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching learners studying GCSE English Language.
  • Contributing to the development of the curriculum and resources for GCSE Language, Literature and A Level English.
  • Participating in departmental meetings, parent evenings, school events, and supporting extracurricular activities or clubs related to the subject area.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A level 3 qualification in English or a related subject.
  • A teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous teaching experience in the FE sector would be an advantage, but is not a requirement.
