Activate Learning are recruiting Faculty Coordinators to join our Lifeskills provision, supporting our campuses with the day‑to‑day running of the faculty. These roles will contribute to the delivery and development of our provision for Post‑16 learners with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities, including supporting the development of our new Vocational and Lifeskills Hub in Wokingham.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Faculty Leadership team, your focus will be on supporting team objectives through providing effective administrative support for key events in the academic planning cycle, including:
- Arranging meetings, agenda management, and issuing reminders for important tasks to support team effectiveness
- Leading on the initial assessment and onboarding of students
- Coordinating activities, faculty open days, and award ceremonies
- Supporting course scheduling, preparation, and upkeep of registers
- Organising and managing student files, including recording student progress
As a Faculty Coordinator, you will be student‑facing, supporting student and teacher enquiries and taking a proactive approach to improving processes and procedures to enhance the student experience.
Positions available
- Permanent, full‑time role working 37 hours per week based at our Reading College.
- Fixed term, part‑time role working 28 hours per week over 4 days based at our Wokingham Hub Denmark Street, Wokingham, RG40 2BB. The contract is until August 2027, with the potential to be extended or made permanent.
