As a Learning Support Team Leader, you will act as a lead to our LSA Mentor and Learning Support Assistants providing support with the day-to-day responsibilities. You will be responsible for completing developmental observations, direct line management of Learning Support Assistants and LSA Mentor, monitoring recruitment needs and retention and training and developmental opportunities. You will work closely with the Group Learning Support Team Leads and Delivery Managers to provide extra operational support. This is a permanent, full-time contract working 37 hours per week based at our Oxford college.

  • The ability to lead, coach and motivate staff is vital.
  • Ability to effectively manage, develop, and performance-review a team of support staff.
  • Strong understanding of SEND and ability to implement appropriate support strategies.
  • English and Maths at Grade 4 or above and/or equivalent.
  • Ability to coordinate staff deployment and prioritise support efficiently.
  • Ability to identify and support staff training and development needs.
  • Strong team values.
  • Commitment to improving learner progress, independence, and achievement.
