The Academic Studies faculty in Guildford includes A Levels, Access to HE, GCSEs, Business and Professional Studies and Counselling. Reporting to the Faculty Director, the successful candidate will provide strong leadership in curriculum development and design, creating an engaging learning environment aligned with our Learning Philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the implementation and continuous enhancement of the curriculum, ensuring alignment with our Learning Philosophy and the learner journey.
  • Delivering and reporting on quality performance targets and student/apprentice outcomes.
  • Managing all aspects of curriculum delivery, including recruitment, enrolment, retention, achievement, and overall success.
  • Supporting the induction and ongoing development of teachers and assessors to strengthen team performance and elevate teaching, learning, and assessment practices, ultimately improving the student experience and outcomes.

This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Guildford College.
