Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop 5 automation testers
- Allocate resources across products based on priority and risk
- Drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement

Test Automation
- Architect scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright
- Oversee automation coverage targets (85%+) and ROI metrics
- Provide hands‑on support for complex automation challenges
- Optimize testing processes and CI/CD pipeline integration
- Implement automation reporting and dashboards
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Lead test planning for major releases
- Communicate quality risks and progress to stakeholders
- Build consensus on quality standards across engineering teams
Skills and experience
- Proven experience in a Development Manager, Software Delivery Manager, or Engineering Manager role.
- Strong background in C#/.NET software development and modern architectural practices.
- Demonstrable experience in leading teams to deliver high‑quality software products to time and budget.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Agile delivery and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and development lifecycles.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience with Azure DevOps, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), or containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
- Hands‑on coding or architectural experience to support technical decision‑making.
- Exposure to managing distributed or remote engineering teams.
