About the role
The role involves the timely collection and re-delivery of customer and courtesy vehicles, ensuring customers are informed of delivery times and delays. Responsibilities include vehicle checks, collecting excess payments, explaining repair processes to customers, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled collection and delivery of customer vehicles, complete relevant paperwork, and handle payments professionally.
- Drive vehicles safely, report faults, and adapt to weather and traffic conditions.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate during vehicle transfers.
- Clean courtesy cars for customer collection to a high standard.
- Report accidents or incidents promptly to the Bodyshop Manager.
- Manage collection of payments and receipts, following financial procedures.
- Collect and verify customer paperwork, check courtesy cars for damage and cleanliness.
- Communicate any damages or cleanliness issues with reception.
- Notify customers and reception of delays.
- Complete customer paperwork with vehicle details, damages, and claims in the presence of the customer.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including safe driving practices and chemical handling.
- Ensure vehicles meet safety standards upon return or report faults accordingly.
- Complete office paperwork such as fuel logs and driver logs.

- Full driving license with appropriate classification.
