A Legal 100 Law Firm, with a market-leading reputation in corporate defence and regulatory work, is looking to recruit and expand the team. The nature of the role is likely to appeal to associate level at 2-4 years' PQE, but applications from all levels including NQs (with regulatory experience) are welcome.
You will be working closely with the lead partner in Manchester, who is an acclaimed expert, and forming part of a wider national and international team. The focus will be Health & Safety and Environmental Regulatory matters.
The team is instructed by a diverse range of clients (operating in construction, manufacturing, transport, scientific research, energy and infrastructure sectors) largely organisations but also individuals/directors, on:
- Health & Safety breaches
- Corporate Manslaughter charges
- Environmental investigations
As well as representation in criminal proceedings and related inquests, the team enjoys an enviable reputation for its expertise in crisis management. They also provide strategic advice and training in the avoidance of breaches and risk assessment.
The firm promotes flexibility, agile and hybrid working. (Please note, however, there is a degree of travel to client sites, courts etc required for this role).
