Excellent opportunity with a professionally managed and long-established practice in the Cumbria and Lancashire area. Acting for a diverse range of corporate & commercial clients, family owned businesses, landed estates and private clients, you will be engaged in a varied caseload of litigation and dispute resolution. The nature of the role requires a specialist lawyer with not less than 4 yrs' PQE.
Typical instructions include:
- Breach of commercial contracts
- Property Litigation (residential, commercial and Landlord & Tenant)
- Landed Estates and Agricultural Disputes
- Contentious Probate, Inheritance and Dependency claims
Whilst experience in all areas is not required, we are looking for experience across a broad range of common law disputes and property litigation. This is a key appointment within the team managing your own caseload and taking responsibility for client relationships. You will also assist the head of department with team development and be involved in mentoring junior members of the team.
The quality of work is excellent with a firm committed to ongoing training and investment in professional support and resources. There is a flexibility in what is a friendly and supportive working environment.
