A UK regional practice, which is headquartered in Manchester, is looking to expand the Employment Team. The department is wellâstructured with highly capable and acclaimed partners at the helm. This fullâservice practice is long established and retained by an impressive and diverse client base. Focus is acting for employers (sizeable corporates, SMEs and professional service clients) but the team also advises directors and employees on an interesting range of instructions.
The team is thriving and the nature of this role requires not less than 3 years of postâqualification experience (PQE) or equivalent. You will enjoy a high degree of client responsibility managing your own caseload while also working as part of a partnerâled team on more complex matters.
Typical Instructions:
- TUPE transactions, consultations and restructuring advice
- HR support enquiries on policy and disciplinary & grievances
- Negotiating exits and terminations
- Employment Tribunal and EAT proceedings
- Training and Employment Law updates
- Preparing employment contracts and documentation
