You will bring:

  • Strong civil/structural engineering knowledge and experience delivering temporary works on major infrastructure or energy projects.
  • Working knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards, DMRB, CIRIA guidance, and associated software (e.g., CADS, Geo5, Tekla Tedds, Robot).
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively, and maintain high technical standards.
  • A proactive, collaborative, and positive mindset aligned with Balfour Beatty’s values.
Desirable
  • Degree in civil/structural engineering.
  • Chartered or working toward ICE/IStructE membership.
  • AutoCAD/Civils 3D drawing capability.
  • Experience in project‑based construction environments.
