Trusted by thousands of enterprises managing millions of endpoints globally, Action1 is certified for SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer responsible for automating processes, supporting and developing AWS infrastructure, and ensuring the stability and security of software delivery. The main goal is to guarantee scalability, predictability, and compliance with SOC 2 / ISO 27001.

What you’ll do

  • Deployments: Own and optimize CI/CD processes for frequent and reliable releases across multiple regions.
  • Automation: Build and maintain automation using CloudFormation / Terraform, AWS Lambda (Node.js/Python) and other DevOps tools.
  • Infrastructure: Manage AWS services (EC2, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.) with a focus on performance, resiliency, and cost optimization.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement access control, monitoring, and measures to ensure compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
  • Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks, improve workflows, and collaborate with developers and operations to accelerate delivery.
  • Supporting colleagues: Handle DevOps‑related requests from internal teams through the ticketing system.
  • Product knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the product and stay on top of upcoming features in development to prepare infrastructure and automation in advance.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in DevOps for SaaS solutions, with strong expertise in managing AWS infrastructure and Linux/Unix systems.
  • Automation & Code: Solid scripting/programming skills (Node.js, Python) and hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation / Terraform). A natural drive to automate everything you see, combined with the ability to do it right, simple, and fast.
  • Proactive mindset: Initiative and a strong desire to improve infrastructure and processes, not just maintain them.
  • Engineering mindset: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to simplify complex tasks.
  • Security focus: Knowledge of security and compliance best practices.
  • Speed & decisiveness: Ability to make quick decisions and act with confidence — minimizing downtime is critical for our customers.
  • Communication: Comfortable working in an international team, with excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • English: Fluent in both spoken and written English.
  • Location & Schedule: You should be able to work from 9 am to 6 pm London Time (UTC +0). A strict work schedule is required, as our data centers are located worldwide, and your working day also includes being on duty in case of incidents.

What we offer

  • Fully remote work, giving you the flexibility you need in the modern world.
  • Engaging challenges and opportunities to solve real‑world problems.
  • Continuous professional growth and learning with cutting‑edge technologies.
  • A stable income and opportunities for advancement.
  • A supportive and collaborative team of skilled professionals.
