About Us:
Action Wall Ties are a well-established structural repair specialist with over 25 years’ experience, working across London and the South East. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a semi-skilled labourer / construction improver to join our Canterbury team.
Semi Skilled Labourer - This role is ideal for someone who:
- Has some experience on building sites (labouring or improver level)
- Can use basic hand and power tools
- Wants to learn specialist construction and structural repair skills
- Is reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a small team
Semi Skilled Labourer - What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting skilled operatives on site
- Removing and reinstating small areas of brickwork
- Raking out joints and assisting with masonry repairs
- Installing wall ties and masonry reinforcement systems
- Basic concrete and structural repair works
- You do not need to be fully skilled – full training is provided
Semi Skilled Labourer - Requirements:
- Some previous site or construction experience essential
- Full UK driving licence an advantage
- Must live in Canterbury, Herne Bay, Thanet or nearby areas
- Willing to start early (around 5am) for daily travel to London / South East
- Good attitude to health & safety
- CSCS card required (or willingness to obtain – we can help)
