Overview
We are seeking a talented finance officer to join the team at Greater Manchester Moving where purpose, passion and integrity are at the heart of all we do.
Greater Manchester Moving (GM Moving) is an active partnership and charity dedicated to changing lives through movement, physical activity and sport. This role is part of a high performing Active Partnership team that supports the shared GM Moving in Action strategy.
Contract
12 months maternity cover, extending to September 2027.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality financial support to colleagues and stakeholders as part of a busy finance team.
- Handle purchase and sales ledger processing.
- Maintain the cashbook and perform bank reconciliations.
Qualifications
- Experience working within a busy finance team.
- Strong transactional finance background.
Working Hours
Part‑time: 22.2 hours per week, which may be worked in 3 days or spread across the week as part of the commitment to flexible working.
Salary
£30,518 – £33,143 p.a. (pro rata). (Pro‑rata £18,311 – £19,886 p.a.)
Location & Working Pattern
Hybrid role with some home working; at least 2 days must be office‑based with one of those days being a Tuesday. Permanent office space located in the National Squash Centre in Manchester, with regular team and co‑working days across Greater Manchester.
