SUMMARY:

  • Position: Temporary Children’s Activity Lead
  • Project: Cornerstone Healthy Holidays Club
  • Contract Type: Temporary
  • Dates: Monday 27th July – Friday 25th August (5 weeks)
  • Working Hours: Weekdays, 9:30am – 3:30pm
  • Hours per Week: 27.5 hours (6-hour day inclusive of a 30-minute unpaid break)
  • Pay: £13.45 per hour (£15.08 per hour inclusive of holiday pay)

OVERVIEW:

Langworthy Cornerstone Association is a Healthy Living Centre in Salford, dedicated to improving health and wellbeing across our local communities. As part of our Cornerstone Healthy Holidays Club, we are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Temporary Children’s Activity Lead to help deliver an exciting programme for children aged 4–14. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, brings energy and structure to group activities, and is confident supporting and working alongside volunteers in a busy holiday club environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience delivering fun, inclusive activities for children and young people
  • Experience leading and supporting volunteers
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • A positive, enthusiastic, and reliable approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Activity delivery for children aged 4–14
