ALL FM, in partnership with Dragons Voice CIC, are delivering a National Lottery Heritage Fund–supported radio and podcast project exploring how the Manchester Chinese community marks, celebrates, and commemorates births, deaths, and marriages. Through intergenerational interviews, audio storytelling, and community-led content creation, the project will document how traditions evolve across generations and how life in the UK shapes cultural practices, beliefs, and ceremonies. The project will create a publicly accessible digital heritage resource and a final exhibition celebrating the community’s stories.
Role Purpose
The Project Administrator will provide administrative, organisational, and documentation support for a National Lottery Heritage Fund–supported project. The role ensures smooth delivery of project activities, accurate recordkeeping, and compliance with Heritage Fund requirements, including monitoring, evaluation, permissions, safeguarding, and digital heritage standards. The administrator will work closely with the Project Coordinator, trainers, partners, and community participants to support an inclusive, culturally sensitive, and well-managed project.
Key Responsibilities (Heritage Fund–Aligned)
- Project administration — Maintain accurate records of project activities, schedules, bookings, and communications.
- Monitoring & evaluation — Collect and organise monitoring data (attendance, demographics, feedback) to support NLHF reporting.
- Financial administration — Log receipts, invoices, petty cash, and evidence of spend in line with HF audit requirements.
- Permissions & consent — Manage consent forms, permissions, and documentation for stories, images, audio, and digital outputs.
- Digital heritage compliance — Support the organisation of digital files, metadata, and materials to meet NLHF accessibility and open licensing standards.
- Community communication — Assist with community-friendly updates, emails, reminders, and information sharing.
- Event & session support — Help coordinate workshops, interviews, training sessions, and celebration events.
- Safeguarding & GDPR — Handle personal and cultural material sensitively, following safeguarding and data protection procedures.
