We are seeking a Waste Recycling Driver Collector to join a dynamic team responsible for collecting waste and recycling from businesses across Greater Manchester and Liverpool. This is a multi-pick up role working across a number of services. Your day could include collecting bagged waste from offices, swapping over 240 litre bins and driving a van collecting a range of materials including potentially wood, equipment or furniture.

As a frontline representative of EMERGE to our customers, good communication skills and a positive and professional approach to customer service is essential. You must be capable of lifting up to 25kg, and be willing to undertake security vetting up to BS7858 standards due to the confidential nature of the material we collect. A clean driving licence is preferred, and all points must be declared. For insurance purposes, you must have at least two years' driving experience, ideally in a 3.5 tonne van, and be over 23 years of age. Good geographic knowledge of Greater Manchester, experience in waste management, and a forklift licence are desirable.
