We are seeking an energetic, relationship-driven, and highly organised Community Partnership & Hub Manager to lead this milestone chapter for our organisation. The Barrack Street Hub is currently undergoing a full refurbishment with an expected opening in Spring 2027.
The space will be used by MC&R for our community work and by a range of local partners for complimentary activities. With the opening hotly anticipated by a wide range of groups, the new Community Partnership & Hub Manager will be tasked with developing these relationships - working with partners to identify their precise needs and to lock down arrangements for the use of the building. In addition to working with external partners the post-holder will work with colleagues within MC&R to shape and deliver our MC&R in the Community offer.
While partnership and programme development are the primary focus, the post-holder will play a vital role in shaping how the space functions and serves the community post-refurbishment. Working with the Chief Executive and colleagues in the SMT, the post-holder will be responsible for establishing governance, management and operational systems for the Hub and delivering the Barrack Street Hub business plan.
The post-holder is not required to manage the building/renovations work which is managed in house by the Chief Executive with a team of external professionals. However, the post holder will be intrinsic to the community and funder engagement tasks associated with the build, keeping people informed of progress, arranging site visits, meetings, photographs and video and reports as required and playing a central role in organising the grand opening.
