We are looking for a Project & Conference Delivery Manager to lead and manage the project delivery team, responsible for the successful delivery of the UK School’s conference and training programme (circa. 500 activities per annum) and other associated projects where required.
The roles objectives are to deliver a high-quality training programme which supports the strategy and targets of the UK School, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and supporting the Supply Chain Sustainability School as the go to for sustainability training in the built environment.

- Delivery of a balanced training programme within the School (and wider programmes where necessary) for all virtual and face to face workshops, webinars and conferences (in the region of 500 per annum).
- You will work closely with the Collaboration Manager and UK Head of School to ensure that the training programme reflects the various priorities set in the business plan generated by the 20 collaboration groups.
- You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure that the training programme is promoted to reflect KPIs set in the business plan generated by the 20 collaboration groups.
- Responsible for ensuring that the training programme is delivered within budget and to time, spread across the year. This includes a number of face-to-face events, including the School Summit.
- Ensuring that the team deliver all format of training activity to a high standard logistically, including speaker acquisition and liaison.
- Leading on the development of the annual School summit programme ensuring that a compelling and cutting-edge agenda is produced and speakers sourced.
- Leading on the development of the 20+ virtual conferences that the UK School runs throughout the year to reach targeted attendee numbers and ensuring all logistical elements are organised and delivered.
- Leading on the development of the 120+ webinars that the UK School runs throughout the year to reach targeted attendee numbers and ensuring all logistical elements are organised and delivered.
- Lead and assist the workshop team on the development of the 200+ workshop programme and catalogue on offer that the UK School runs for their partners throughout the year to reach targeted attendee numbers and ensuring all logistical elements are organised and delivered.
- Manage workshop and webinar catalogue and directory of trainers who deliver these, to ensure this reflects training needs of our clients, including working closely with consultancy and customer success team to lead on processes between the teams.
- Monitoring feedback received from training, reporting on outcomes and implementing actions to continuously improve quality and engagement.
- Leading on innovation in the virtual training offering by implementing new technologies or formats to enhance learner experience.
- You will work closely with customer success, the collaboration groups, marketing team and content team to reach targets around supply chain engagement and learners to the School (current strategy is to reach 100,000 learners by 2030).
- Ensure that the customer experience is of a high standard and monitor the set KPI’s such as NPS.
- Continual development of School processes, in particular, related to the training programme and engagement of the supply chain and quality control all training aspects.
- Ensuring that there are appropriate resources available to deliver against overall School business plan which includes the delivery team supporting various leadership groups and engaging the supply chain. When necessary/ relevant providing a business case for additional support.
- You will also support the growth of the other School’s (Ireland, USA, Australia) by providing the training and support required to deliver those training programmes as the team(s) grow.
- Support the customer success team to provide value to the Partners through the seamless delivery for Partner led workshops.
- Work with the project delivery team to continually improve the customer service function provided to members through calls and enquiries, making it more efficient while keeping high standards of customer service to the growing number of member.
- Cost control of suppliers relating to programme delivery. Negotiating with suppliers where
necessary. - Coaching members of the team; recommending training and helping the whole team realise their full potential and career aspirations.
- Understand the overall School platform and support the School team in producing briefs to improve the functionality of the LMS and CRM.
- Writing reports and meeting preparation, following up on actions and some other administrative duties where required.
- Using Monday.com as a project management tool.
- Other tasks as instructed which support the business as a whole.
A strong people manager with a mix of strong project management skills and experience of developing compelling conference agendas. A good understanding of marketing with a commercial outlook is desirable.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with a focus around upskilling and enabling the team to develop their skills.
- Takes on full ownership and responsibility to deliver against target, solve problems and manage workload proactively.
- Experienced in managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Engages meaningfully with colleagues and stakeholders, to understand and assess their views and build a consensus.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise and thrives in a busy environment.
- Cost control and budget management with a good commercial outlook.
- Able to negotiate effectively when required.
