Action Staffing Ltd is searching for a dynamic, ambitious, and strategic Nursery Manager to lead an established and successful nursery in the beautiful market town of Devizes. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Early Years leader who thrives on outdoor learning, forest school pedagogy, and nature-based education. You will manage a large, high-quality setting (90–100+ capacity) with the full support of a leading education group.

- Salary: £40,000 – £43,000 per annum
- Joining Bonus: £1,000 bonus (upon passing 6-month probation)
- Hours: 40 hours per week, 51 weeks a year

Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring "Good" Ofsted standards and full EYFS compliance.
- Outdoor Learning Vision: Lead and develop the outdoor forest area, allotment, and wooded spaces to enhance the nursery's unique identity.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, control costs, and drive occupancy growth through proactive marketing and enrolment strategies.
- Team Development: Inspire, recruit, and mentor a large team of professionals, ensuring high morale and Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
- Safeguarding: Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), ensuring a culture of proactive vigilance and safety.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Qualification: Minimum Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare (Level 4, Level 5, or Degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in nursery management, ideally within a large setting (90+ children).
- Technical Skills: Strong financial awareness, target-driven, and IT literate (experience with EYWorks or similar nursery management systems).
- Personal Qualities: A "can-do" attitude, resilient, and passionate about the Curiosity Approach or similar child-centered frameworks.
