Action Staffing Ltd is looking for a highly skilled and ambitious Nursery Manager to take the lead at a well-regarded setting in Orpington. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader to drive excellence in Early Years education while managing a dedicated team in the BR6 area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and educational provision.
- Ofsted Readiness: Maintain constant "Inspection Ready" status by upholding all statutory requirements and EYFS standards.
- Staff Management: Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of Early Years Practitioners, managing rotas and professional development.
- Parental Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with families and the local Orpington community.
- Compliance: Act as the Lead Safeguarding Officer and ensure all health and safety policies are strictly enforced.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualifications: Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years (Level 5 or Degree in Early Years is highly desirable).
- Experience: Proven track record in a Nursery Management or Deputy Manager role within a UK setting.
- Skills: Strong financial acumen, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of Ofsted frameworks.
- Location: Must be able to commute easily to Green Street Green / Orpington.
