We are recruiting an experienced and passionate Nursery Deputy Manager to join a well-established nursery in North London (NW2 / NW5). This role is ideal for an experienced Deputy Manager, Room Leader, or Senior Practitioner looking to step into a leadership position within a supportive early years setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Nursery Manager with daily operations
  • Lead and motivate the early years team
  • Ensure full compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements
  • Oversee planning, observations, and assessments
  • Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead when required
  • Build strong relationships with parents and professionals
  • Step in for the Manager when needed

Requirements

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
  • Previous experience in a Deputy Manager, Room Leader, or Senior Practitioner role
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted frameworks
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Right to work in the UK
