We are recruiting an experienced and passionate Nursery Deputy Manager to join a well-established nursery in North London (NW2 / NW5). This role is ideal for an experienced Deputy Manager, Room Leader, or Senior Practitioner looking to step into a leadership position within a supportive early years setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Nursery Manager with daily operations
- Lead and motivate the early years team
- Ensure full compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements
- Oversee planning, observations, and assessments
- Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead when required
- Build strong relationships with parents and professionals
- Step in for the Manager when needed
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
- Previous experience in a Deputy Manager, Room Leader, or Senior Practitioner role
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted frameworks
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Right to work in the UK
