Are you a natural leader with a passion for infant care? We are looking for a caring and creative Baby Room Leader to join a vibrant nursery in Leyton (E11). In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the baby suite, ensuring our youngest children have a safe, secure, and "home-like" environment to explore and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example, supporting and guiding staff within the baby room to maintain high standards of care.
- Plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities tailored to children under 2 years old.
- Maintain accurate records, observations, and assessments to track each child's progress.
- Ensure the room remains a fun, safe, and welcoming space for infants and their families.
- Promote best practices in safeguarding, health, and hygiene within the team.
Requirements (Essential)
- Must hold a Level 3 Childcare Qualification or higher.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience specifically working with children under the age of 2.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding procedures, and infant development milestones.
- Excellent organisational and IT skills, with a creative and flexible approach to childcare.
- Enhanced DBS check and two professional references required.
