Are you an experienced Deputy Manager or a strong Third in Charge looking for a better work-life balance? Action Staffing is recruiting for a unique Term-Time Only leadership role in Brentwood, Essex. We are seeking a passionate leader to support the Nursery Manager in a lovely setting in the Warley area. This is a rare opportunity to hold a management position while enjoying 13 weeks of holiday per year and finishing at 4pm every day.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Support the Manager in the daily running of the nursery, deputising in their absence and ensuring compliance with Ofsted and Safeguarding policies.
  • Mentoring: Lead the staff team by example, conducting peer observations and supporting their professional development.
  • Education: Oversee the delivery of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across all age groups.
  • Partnership: Build strong relationships with parents and families in the Brentwood community.

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare.
  • Experience as a Deputy Manager, Third in Charge, or Senior Room Leader.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted standards.
  • Living within a commutable distance to Brentwood, Essex.
