Summary of the Role: The post holder(s) will be part of the Action Renewables project delivery teams. Responsibilities include carrying out work activities to support Team Leaders deliver environmental schemes across a varied customer base. The post holder(s) will require skills in administration, data & spreadsheet management, time management and strong communication skills. Successful candidates will be task orientated and self-driven, capable of delivering against tight deadlines and detail orientated. They are expected to be highly skilled in their field and capable of multi-tasking while also remaining focused on the company objectives.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week. Daily hours of work are 9.00am - 17.00pm, Monday - Friday. Opportunity to work from home up to two days per week (non-contractual).
Reporting Line: Reporting to Team Leaders.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Administrate Renewable Obligation Certification (ROC) claims, Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO) administration, NIE Grid Connection administration and electricity trading activities across a varied customer base.
- Assist with the collection, validation and submission of data from various sources as per business needs.
- Key client management.
- Develop Action Renewables relationship with various Statutory Agencies such as Ofgem, NIE Networks, Utility Regulator, Department for Transport, Government Departments and electricity supply companies.
- Problem solving and developing innovative solutions.
- Setting and meeting deadlines as per operational needs.
- Represent Action Renewables at various stakeholder forums.
- Participate in other business activities as required.
Essential Criteria:
- Level 6 Qualification in a relevant subject or 12 months experience in an energy related field.
- Minimum 1 year project administration experience.
- Demonstrable experience of data handling and management.
- High level experience of IT systems including Microsoft office packages.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Able to demonstrate excellent verbal, written and numeracy skills.
- Experience of client engagement and account management.
Desirable Criteria:
- Level 7 Qualification in a relevant subject area.
- Knowledge of Renewable Energy technologies.
- Knowledge of energy policy in Northern Ireland, ROI and GB.
- Full driving license and access to a car for business purposes.
