– previous applicants need not apply Role: To work as part of the Action Mental Health Counselling team to provide therapeutic intervention to children, young people and/or adults seeking therapeutic support.
To contribute to the daily operation of safe and confidential therapeutic services for children, young people and/or adults referred to Action Mental Health Counselling.
Action Mental Health Counselling offers a blended delivery (face-to-face and digital).
This role will be based in the Belfast offices.
You will have (essential): Professional qualification in counselling or psychotherapy with children, young people and/or adults (minimum Diploma level or equivalent) or Professional qualification in Art, Music, Drama (minimum Masters level or RQF level equivalent) or If student working towards this (minimum level 4 on educational framework).
Accredited with BACP, HCPC, UKCP, IACP, BAT or AFT or equivalent or committed to working towards this.
Available for training on internal systems mid/late April 2025 Able to deliver a minimum of 3 weekly sessions Able to commence delivery of clinical sessions by early May 2025 Skills: Counselling adult counselling mental health volunteer counselling student placement student counsellor therapeutic services
