Job type: Permanent, Full‑time; 9:00 – 17:00, 37.5 to 41.5 hours per week.

Salary: $17.60 to $18.75 per hour, negotiable.

Responsibilities:

  • Accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment.
  • Operate cash register.
  • Prepare sales, rental or leasing contracts.
  • Operate computerized inventory record‑keeping and re‑ordering systems.
  • Provide advice about merchandise.
  • Perform data entry.
  • Provide customer service.
  • Conduct sales transactions through Internet‑based electronic commerce.
  • Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease.
  • Maintain sales records for inventory control.
  • Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.

Qualifications:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Will train; no prior experience required.
  • Computer and technology knowledge: Sage Accounting Software.
