St Paul's CofE Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Wraparound Care Leader to lead our Breakfast and After School Club provision and play a key role in supporting the wider life of our school.

About the Role: As our Wraparound Care Leader, you will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day leadership and operation of our Breakfast and After School Club provision, ensuring children enjoy a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment before and after the school day. You will also undertake the important role of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (Deputy DSL) alongside the Headteacher, helping to ensure the wellbeing and safety of our pupils remains at the centre of everything we do.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the daily operations of the Breakfast and After School Club, including directing the team of staff.
  • Planning and delivering a range of engaging, safe and inclusive activities for pupils.
  • Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all children attending the provision.
  • Supporting food preparation and ensuring appropriate standards are maintained.
  • Building positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
  • Supporting the safeguarding culture of the school as Deputy DSL.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:

  • Energy, enthusiasm and a creative approach to play‑based learning.
  • A Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or a firm commitment to undertake Level 3 training).
  • Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
  • Ideally, current First Aid and Food Hygiene training.
  • Ideally, Level 3 Safeguarding training (or a firm commitment to undertake this).
