This is a non‑teaching post which will give the successful candidate an excellent opportunity for career progression into premises management. The Deputy Premises Manager plays a key role in ensuring that the school site is safe, secure, clean, well‑maintained and fully operational at all times. Supporting the Premises Manager, the postholder will help to lead the day‑to‑day operation of the premises team, oversee cleaning and maintenance standards, support health and safety compliance, and ensure that the school provides an excellent environment for students, staff and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Premises Manager, help to lead the day‑to‑day operation of the premises team, and ensure cleaning and maintenance standards are met.
- Support health and safety compliance across the school site.
- Ensure the school provides an excellent environment for students, staff and visitors.
- Work effectively with teaching and support staff at all levels, parents/carers, students and external agencies.
