Role: Play Worker Spring Oscars (Redwood Primary)

Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire

Salary: £25,800 per annum, pro rata

Contract/Hours: Fixed term/Part Time – 27.5 hours per week (12 months)

Breakfast club: 07.30-08.15

After School Club: 15.10-18.00

Holiday Club: 07.30-17.30

Closing date: Midnight on the 25th of May 2026

A bit about the role

In the role of Play Worker Spring Oscars, you’ll be an effective member of the out of School Club team delivering a flexible, high quality, education and care centred service before and after school and during the holidays that meets the needs of children 4-11 years of age and their families and the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

In the role of Play Worker, you’ll be:

  • Promoting good childcare practice in a professional, inclusive, and flexible manner.
  • Planning and taking part in play and leisure activities for children.
  • Caring for and supervising our children, making sure that they are safe and happy.
  • Thoroughly enjoying your role and making each day count for the children in our care.

What we need from you

In the role of Play Worker (Unqualified), we’re ideally looking for someone who has:

  • A real passion to work with children and make a difference.
  • First Aid qualification or ability to achieve.
  • Enhanced PVG Disclosure Certificate or ability to achieve.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or ability to achieve.
