Job title: Registered Manager

Salary: c.£60,000 per annum, pplus £700 on call allowance

Location: Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire

Contract/Hours: Permanent/Full Time – 37 hours per week

A bit abouttherole

As Registered Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a children's home shaping it from the very start. You'll build your own team, establish the culture and practice from day one, and create a safe, consistent home where our young person can feel valued, supported and able to thrive.

Working closely with Nottinghamshire County Council and CAMHS, you'll play a key role in helping a young person build resilience, develop positive relationships, engage in education and make safe choices.

As part of our collaborative partnership with CAMHS, you will receive regular clinical supervision and dedicated ongoing support, helping you to deliver the highest quality care and achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.

What you do could make a difference

As Registered Manager, you'llbuildthe team and put everything in place to lay a sound foundation and secure Ofsted registration, withthe support and guidancefrom the leadership team.

  • Lead the safe and effective day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high-quality care and support.
  • Lead and develop a skilled and consistent team around the care of our young person.
  • Develop and embed effective care planning, safeguarding and risk management practices.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and organisational standards.
  • Establish a positive culture within the home, focused on stability, relationships and achieving the best possible outcomes for the young person.

Let’stalk about you

  • We’re looking for an existing Children’s Services Registered Manager, or an ambitious Deputy Manager/Team Leader who is ready to take their next step.
  • You’ll bring experience in children's residential care, alongside a Level 5 qualification (e.g. Diploma in Leadership and management of Residential Childcare)or be willing to work towards.
  • You’ll understand the cultural,socialand ideological forces that shape a child’s development.
  • You’ll have proven ability in providing a contained and fulfilling environment for staff, promoting psychological safety to build and sustain a resilient team.

About the Service

You will be leading in a newly commissioned home for up to 2 young people who need a dedicated space to benefit from our therapeutic model, enabling them to develop confidence and resilience, build healthy relationships, stay engaged in learning, and make positive choices.
