The predicted salary is between 24309 - 30400 £ per year.

Salary: £24,309.07 Per annum pro rata

Location: Northamptonshire: Kettering.

Contract/Hours: Permanent Part-time - working a minimum of 4-6 hours per week dependent on the service with more hours available during the school holidays.

Expected Working Patterns: Saturdays in term time and varied weekdays during school holidays. We can offer flexible working hours to fit in around your course, family, or other job: Weekends, After school, Term time or school holidays.

About the role:

We are currently looking for a Children’s Services Workers to help us maintain providing excellent support to children and young people aged 5 – 18. As you can imagine, there's no job too small at Action for Children. Everyone contributes something special.

Northants Short Breaks Service is a county-wide service providing short breaks to children and young people and their families, supporting a range of ages and needs. We have an inclusive approach that considers age, disability, and wider needs. It fits with our ethos of believing in the importance of allowing children and young people to socialise and develop relationships with other children and young people, regardless of their age, need and ability.

How you'll help to create brighter futures:

  • Getting involved in lots of fun activities! arts & crafts, leisure activities, park visit, bowling and many more.
  • Providing 1:1 support in group activities.
  • Planning and executing activities and encouraging active participation across our group sessions.
  • Being a creative thinker and having a solution focused approach.
  • Using your skills, knowledge, and experience to meet the needs of young people.
  • Taking responsibility for the personal care and daily routines of the young people.
