Overview
Estates Procurement Manager role at Action for Children. In this newly created role, you will strategically lead and manage all procurement related activities for the Estates team including full tender ownership and management. You will also support a wide range of large scale spend categories throughout the full team and across the organisation to maximise efficiencies from our internal and external stakeholders and our systems to enable resources to be redirected to the children, young people and families who we support.
Base pay range
Salary: up to £54,340 (INCL) per annum.
Location: Remote.
Contract: Fixed Term Contract for 18 months – 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities
- Develop, lead and manage all Estates procurement activities.
- Manage all stages of the tender process.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Apply good procurement practices and keep abreast of the latest developments in procurement.
- Review and maintain the corporate systems to produce scheduled and ad-hoc compliance management information.
- Retain a central Estates register of main contracts as well as other appropriate databases for key suppliers and main contractors.
Qualifications and experience
- MCIPS Qualified.
- Experience of working in a procurement environment and management of high value contracts.
- Experience of designing and setting up systems and processes for managing and reviewing contracts.
- Extensive experience of the tendering process.
- Demonstrable success of building and maintaining relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Proven ability to guide and advise on all complex procurement matters.
- Able to provide expert guidance and advice for procurement in the estate’s portfolio.
