Location: Homebased. Must be located permanently in the UK.
Contract: Permanent - 35 hours per week.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivating Diversity & Inclusion Partner on a permanent contract working 35 hours per week. In this new role, you will play a key role in strategically driving forward Action for Children’s Diversity & Inclusion strategy and approach, strengthening our commitment to creating an inclusive and anti-racist working environment. This role will promote fair and equitable opportunities for all staff and contribute to increasing the diversity of our workforce and volunteers.
How you'll help to create brighter futures:
- Providing professional advice and guidance to senior leaders and colleagues, to progress the development of an inclusive and diverse workplace.
- Collaborating with People Team colleagues to identify, design and deliver training programs, workshops, focus groups and forums.
- Collaborate with colleagues to embed D&I into organisational policies, leadership programmes, mandatory training, and team development efforts.
- Working with the wider People team and other colleagues at all levels, to inform and influence change in policies, practices, and provision.
- Embed the D&I Strategy and progressing the D&I Action Plan, including our commitment to being an Anti-racist organisation.
- Contribute and lead where necessary with the retention of Disability Confident Employer commitments.
- Support the Head of Diversity & Inclusion to facilitate and manage the D&I framework, including D&I working groups, staff networks and D&I Champions.
Let's talk about you:
- Professional qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent practical experience.
- Formal coaching, mentoring and or mediation training/qualification or willingness to achieve.
- Experience of Diversity & Inclusion /People Partnering role.
- Proven record in developing and implementing D&I strategies, courses, programs.
- Knowledge of intersectional systemic oppression and its manifestation in organisational systems, culture, and behaviours (including anti-racism).
- Interrogate, interpret, and translate D&I data into compelling stories.
- Experience of creating and facilitating workshops and webinars covering a range of D&I topics.
- Experience of collaborating with employee networks or D&I forums/working groups.
