Spring Nursery RAF Waddington are looking for a new Nursery Apprentice. You will be studying toward your Early Years Educator apprenticeship Level 3.

At RAF Waddington Nursery, we are committed to providing good quality childcare for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We are open 51 weeks of the year, Monday to Friday 7:30am-5:30pm. We provide a safe and friendly environment for your child to explore and enjoy, whilst learning through play. We have bright spacious classrooms, a parent lending library and a variety of exciting outside learning environments.

What You’ll Do

  • To maintain accurate and up to date records and observations that fulfil Ofsted requirements and support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
  • To plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities for children within the setting and afterschool club, supporting physical play, creativity, communication, and social development.
  • To provide a safe, stimulating, and well‑resourced environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore, and develop independence through play‑based learning opportunities.
  • To support children’s individual learning journeys, recognising developmental milestones and adapting activities to meet the needs and interests of all children.
  • To ensure the safeguarding, health, safety, and wellbeing of all children and staff within the setting, following safeguarding policies, procedures, and Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) guidelines at all times.
  • To build positive and professional relationships with parents and carers, sharing information regularly to support children in reaching their full potential.
  • To work effectively as part of the nursery team, contributing to daily routines, maintaining high standards of care, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment for children and families.

Training Outcome

There is a possibility of being offered a full time role after successful completion of the apprenticeship.
