We're looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our busy transport and warehouse team. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines local deliveries and collections with warehouse duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being active and doesn't want to be sat behind a desk. The successful candidate will spend the day delivering and collecting pallets and parcels before returning to the depot to support our warehouse operation until the end of the shift.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 10:00am - 7:15pm
  • One Saturday per month: 8:00am - 12:00pm

The Role

  • Loading your vehicle ready for deliveries.
  • Delivering pallets and parcels to customers.
  • Collecting pallets and parcels from customers.
  • Driving a larger van, including Luton body vehicles.
  • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks.
  • Operating a forklift to load and unload vehicles.
  • Loading, unloading and sorting pallets and parcels.
  • Assisting with goods in and goods out.
  • General warehouse duties, ensuring the warehouse remains clean, safe and organised.
  • Working efficiently as part of a busy transport and warehouse team.

Essential Requirements

  • A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
  • A full UK Driving Licence.
  • Confident driving larger vans, including Luton body vehicles.
  • Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling throughout the day.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Own transport to travel to and from work, as our depot is not accessible by public transport.
