Shift: Day Shift
Rate: £35,000 - £42,000 dependant on experience
This candidate will report in directly to the Quality manager and be responsible for the maintenance, and improvement of quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement
- Aid in contract review process ensuring the flow down of customer requirements.
- Help in the design and implementation of a robust APQP program.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Work as part of lean six sigma teams to reduce waste and variations in processes.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 4+ years' of industry experience in a highly regulated industry i.e., Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, Medical and Scientific.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and tools such as ISO 9001, AS9100, IA16949 etc.
- Analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving.
