This approach mitigates risks in delivery, installation and operations across the lifecycle, reducing mooring lifecycle costs and safeguarding major operations that protect start-up schedules when mooring and mooring intervention are on the project or production critical path.
This role will assist the Yard Supervisor and yard personnel with carrying out duties to facilitate the mobilisation, demobilisation and maintenance of mooring equipment both locally and internationally. The Marine Operative will ensure that instructions given by the Yard Supervisor and Management are carried out in a timely and efficient manner, including off-site work at the Quayside or additional Intermoor facilities.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Working under instruction of Senior and Middle management at various locations
- Maintenance of all items held in InterMoor equipment inventory
- Assisting with Quayside operations which will include direct contact with Client representatives
- General Yard duties including all aspects of housekeeping and stock control
- Equipment Inspection in line with guidelines on pass/fail criteria
- Supporting our Inspection team
- Weekend Duty Responsibility
- Liaising with both Clients and the Yard team respectively with regards to current and upcoming hires and hire returns
Requirements
- Sufficient experience of mooring equipment handling and inspections (E)
- Banksman & Slinger Basic Level (E)
- Fork lift truck basic certification (E)
- Full UK Driving Licence (E)
- High level of communication skills in both written and spoken format (E)
